100m: I'm gonna wreck it! [Action]
[Action (1)]
[This nine-foot tall, barefoot giant of a man finds himself waking up in any old house or apartment, maybe even in the forest. Completely oblivious to the pink wings on his back for now, he instead comes to attention and begins looking around in confusion.]
What? Where's... No! I can't have been taken to another game. I... I was right there! I was gonna save- I... [And his voice goes soft.] Vanellope...
[His eyes are close for a moment, mournfully. When they open, they're filled with hurt anger. And his unusually massive fists are soon put to work... wrecking his immediate surroundings in an angry tantrum, while he shouts loudly. He could keep going until there's nothing left. He will hold himself back from hurting actual people, but he will at least shove aside those who get in his way at emotional heights.]
[Action 2]
[Later on, after being calmed from his tantrum, Ralph trudges through town, defeated and feeling ashamed. First day in a new game and already he's been playing the bad guy. So he makes his way through the item and clothing shops, finding one item in the former which gives him a strong, bittersweet feeling, and then he makes his way out of the village. He only stops at Good Spirits for a round of root beers, trying to keep to himself. That evening, with a sack of bricks over his shoulder, he seeks a nice stump to sleep against, in between bouts of the freezing rain.]

[ Man Soren will glare right back don't make him come down there! ]
Also my name isn't "kid" it's "Ikki".
action 2;
Icky? Who the heck names a kid Icky?
action 2;
Two k's! I K K I! Ikki! It's a TRADITIONAL air nomad name!
action 2;
Well excuse me for not saying it exactly right! Air nomads? What the heck kind of game would that be in...
action 2;
[ look her name is a very important cultural heritage man! ] It's not a game, it's my world! I'm an air nomad! That's my culture!
Mister, why d'you keep talking about games? Did you want to go to the rec center or something? [ because she can point you there man. She's also fairly relaxed at this point, since apparently he's just rude, not evil. ]
action 2;
Well that's just great for you. Aren't you a little young to be some kinda... nomad?
I don't want to go to a rec center. And maybe I'm talking like that because I live in a game. I just don't know what kind I'm in right now.
action 2; ralph you're right this is a game
[ She shrugs. YEAH KINDA. ] It's what my people are called. It doesn't mean we're all nomadic, although I wanna be when I grow up.
Well, first off, this isn't a game! It's Luceti! If you lived in a game in your world, that's...something that's true for your world, not everyone ELSE'S worlds, you know? Has anyone told you anything about Luceti yet?
action 2; somehow he's even more meta than troy
That's something to look forward to. Nomads get to go wherever they want, huh? Sounds like a pretty great role to have.
I heard a few things. That's the name of this ga- place, right? [He doesn't really believe these "not a game" business. After all, he knows some characters aren't programmed to be self-aware. But he'll go along to avoid confusing these NPCs.]
action 2; and that is a challenge
Oh, I think so! I want to travel the whooooole world.
Mhmm. That's the name of this Enclosure, anyway. There are other ones, but people only go there on missions and drafts, s'far as I know. [ SHRUG. ] We don't actually know the name of the world we're on.
action 2;
Pretty ambitious kid, nice. Just don't bite more than you can chew.
Oh, I see. A whole... big, world, huh?
action 2;
I won't! I'm an airbender, I'll be fine.
I guess. I've never been outside of Luceti - I mean, I did go outside at HOME, but since I've been here? Nope. My grandpa and the others have gone on the drafts and missions, though.
action 2;
Airbender or Air nomad? Make up your mind already.
Oh, really? Family here, huh?
action 2;
ikki this is why you end up talking to people like loki ]
I'm both! Air Nomads are my people; not all air nomads are airbenders, though. ...Well, the two in Luceti are, but that's just 'cause there's only two of us here. An airbender can do this - [ hang on she's getting out some of the marbles she carries around to present to Ralph Aang's best airbending trick DO YOU SEE HOW AWESOME? ] - and air acolytes can't.
Yep. My grandpa and grangran and Uncle Sokka and Aunt Toph and Uncle Roku and Aunt Suki now and Bolin are all from my world, and then there's people from other worlds here, too.
action 2;
A lot of difference classes of air people you there. [He stares at the marble trick for a moment. Nifty gameplay feature. But he's not that impressed.] Oh, and you guys got your own annoying trick.
Whoa. The whole family, huh?
action 2;
Hey! It's not annoying! [ HERE HAVE AN ACTUAL AIR BLAST IS THAT BETTER 8| not enough to actually do much, of course, but.
...and then she stops, looking just the slightest bit put out. ] No. My mommy and daddy and brothers and sister are all at home.
action 2;
[He does some mix of a laugh and a scoff at the air blast.] Now that's refreshing! You ever look into becoming a professional air conditioner?
[But when she stops, he looks down towards her with a bit of sympathy.] ...Oh, gee kid, I'm sorry.
action 2;
I'm not doin' it hard enough to knock you over, Ralph! [ ...because as annoyed as she is, she's not actually going to try to hurt someone to even that degree. ] And you don't have to be rude just 'cause you think something that's important to me is silly.
[ ...oh. Okay, that was sort of nice of him. ] ...It's okay. Anyway, that's normal for most people here.
action 2;
What? That is a compliment. A nice steady job to keep up between... nomading about. And I doubt you've got enough air in you to knock all this over. [He motions to himself.]
This place is pretty lousy. [People are supposed to stay in their games, together, with the people they're programmed to be around.]
action 2;
You're saying that 'cause you haven't seen me try. Soren'd help, too. He's a flying pokemon, you know.
...It's okay. Some of the people I live with now aren't back home. I'm from...a really long time after them.
action 2;
Oh, a pokemon? [He squints at the bird curiously.] How'd one of those guys get here?
What, like... from the future? [But the way he's looking at her... it's almost sympathetic.]
action 2;
[ She. Blinks. ] You know what pokemon are? They're another one of the worlds people can be from. The trainers who come from there normally have pokemon - three of 'em for some reason - and two of those pokemon had Soren. So now he lives here. ...He can't go back to that world, I think.
Seventy years, yep. Bolin's the only one from my time.
action 2;
Oh yeah, I've heard of them. Don't really expect to see 'em around like this. [But hearing that Soren can't return to his own world, Ralph can't help but look at him sympathetically.] Like a glitch, then. That's gotta byte.
That is kinda messed up. [And he's not sure what more to say about that.] You said something about a rec center?
action 2;
What's a glitch? [ Soren's never known his own world, so. ...But yeah, losing trainers one after the other sucks. He's getting a complex about it, which mostly involves keeping a close eye on the one he has. ]
It's okay, though. I got to meet my grandpa. And yeah! There's a rec center. There's some arcade games there, I think - I never really go there. [ she's usually too busy with all her other activities, but she knows where it is! ] Want to go there now?
action 2;
A glitch is a character who's not working right for some reason. Something in the code. But it keeps them stuck in one game. No way out. [And his expression sinks slightly as he says this.]
Yeah, kid. Take me there. You're gonna learn some arcade games.
action 2;
Oh. That's sad. [ She means it, too. It sounds sad. It's not something that is an actual thing in her world, but...no one should get stuck somewhere. ]
Okay! We're going this way, then! [ Aaaaaaand she pulls out her journal as she turns around, jotting out a quick note to her grandparents about her change in plans. They get these periodically. Sometimes there are pictures drawn in, but this time she puts it back fairly quickly. ]
